The Green Suitcase is a Copenhagen-based product agency that represents and distributes a range of Australian design products in the European market. The products are manufactured in accordance with a set of ethical values, ranging from environmental and sustainable standards to fair trade and development criteria. The Green Suitcase supports the sustainable design industry in order to promote the conservation of everyone's most precious assets; our planet and the people who inhabit it.
The Green Suitcase was founded in 2010 by Australian Lauren Bowey when she moved to Denmark to live with her favourite Dane; Jacob. Rebecca Harvey is English-Danish and moved home to Copenhagen last summer with her husband, Ross and her little son, Theodor.
Before starting The Green Suitcase, Lauren worked as an animal rights and environmental activist. Rebecca has spent the past 10 years working in international development, with a focus on human rights.
The ethical and environmental values that inspired us in our earlier work are strongly reflected in our choice of products today.
