The Green Suitcase was founded in 2010 by Australian, Lauren Bowey when she moved to Denmark to live with her favourite Dane; Jacob. The idea for The Green Suitcase sprang from Lauren's dream to have a connection with Australia in her everyday life in Denmark....and her desire to proudly represent her favourite Australian brands out in the wider world.
As Lauren is a greenie at heart, environmental & ethical standards are utmost in The Green Suitcase philosophy. Therefore The Green Suitcase's aim is to showcase a range of Australian designers whose products and company ethos embrace high environmental, human rights and animal welfare values. The Green Suitcase supports the sustainable design industry as a way to promote conservation of everyone's most precious asset; our planet.
